We start with clay, aka stoneware in our magical world. We choose the premium clay with care, thinking about its superpowers and dazzling texture. Then, we knead it with tenderness to obtain a smooth dough, ready to be shaped.
Step 2: Shaping ✨
Once our clay is ready to play, we shape it with all our love. Whether by hand, on the potter's wheel or with funky molds, we make sure that each piece is a work of art, precisely shaped with an attentive eye for detail.
Step 3: Drying ☀️
After the shaping session, our little ceramic creations need a break to dry. We send them to a special room, where they meet a breath of fresh air to speed up the process. Slowly but surely, we want to avoid the dramas of cracks and deformations!
Step 4: Cooking 🔥
Firing is when our ceramic babies gain muscle! We send them into a special kiln, where temperatures rise to 1000°C to make them strong and ready to take on the world.
Step 5: Glazing 🌟
After a short cooling time, our pieces are ready for glazing. We give them a touch of glamour with smooth and shiny finishes, and add funky colors and textures. Psst, our glazes are like magic potions, made with secret recipes! Our ceramics go back to the kiln for a second firing at 1250°C; this is the moment when we hope the glaze is well fixed to our babies...
Step 6: The Final Inspection 🧐
Before we say "goodbye" to our creations, we put them through a final inspection. We check every inch to make sure there are no flaws, cracks, or quality issues. Only the pieces that pass this test with flying colors are ready to be carefully packaged and sent to our beloved customers.
